The Chanel J12 calibre 3125 was born out of the partnership between Chanel and one of the most prestigious Swiss watch manufactures, Audemars Piguet. The exclusive partnership allowed the brands to combine their talents.
The J12 calibre 3125 has joined Chanel’s Exclusive Edition, a series of sophisticated, jeweled watches with a powerful appeal among a very select band of watch aficionados.
The 42-mm case of the Chanel watch is crafted in 18K yellow gold and black ceramic. The uni-directional bezel features the same combination of materials. The watch construction features a face protected by a sapphire crystal and a display case back.
The Chanel J12 Calibre 3125 embraces the wrist with a black ceramic bracelet fitted with a patented Chanel triple-folding buckle in 18K yellow gold. The timepiece offers an advantage of 50-meter water-resistance and 60-hour power-reserve.
In the heart of the Chanel J12 Calibre 3125 there beats an exclusive automatic movement – CHANEL AP – 3125, based on the fusion of the AP 3120 movement and Chanel “J12″ ceramic. Chanel has redesigned the balance bridge and the rotor is crafted in mirror-polished black ceramic and 22K rhodium-plated yellow gold, mounted on ceramic ball bearings.
The double balance bridge has provided high precision positioning of the balance and higher degree of shock resistance, implying greater timekeeping precision. When the watch’s wearer pulls out the crown, the balance stop lever is automatically activated to guarantee that the seconds hand is immediately stopped and the time may be set precisely.
